Game Review 2

Hello! It is US again
Here to share with you another great games website for children!

Literacy Center Education.Net – The Early Childhood Education Network has created a series of educational games that teaches preschool children on different school concepts such as in this case, we are focusing on the concept of Mathematics. In this educational website, sounds and bright colours are used to capture the attention of the young ones. When you visit this website, you would see the homepage, which shows you the tabs, of different topics, which you have to click on so that you can access to that specific topic. Here is a view of the tabs on the homepage.

As you can see, this website teaches children not only about some Maths concept, which in this case are shapes and numbers, but also about the uppercase letters and its lowercase letters, writing, words, colours and even the keyboard.

So you can see how really helpful and educational it is!

Below are some view pictures of the pages that you would be brought to when you click on the respective tabs.

Plus, in every page, there are many sub-pages. Thus, there are many different activities for each respective tab. So, don't forget to click on them! :)

Let's focus on the main concept of this review, shall we!

SHAPES

The child would learn how the word is spelt for each shape as well as learn how to pronounce it as there would be a computer-generated sound, reading the word as it appears. Moreover, they would also learn what the shapes are called. They learn about geometry.

NUMBERS

The child would learn how many stars should be there for the corresponding numbers. And there would be a computer-generated sound, reading the number as it appears. This way, children would know what the numbers are called, and how to pronounce it.

That is all for the Maths concept! Aren't they really fun as well as educational.. :D

For your information and curiosity, here are some view pictures of the pages you would see when you click on the other tabs!

WRITING

This helps the child to visualise the letter and drag the blocks to form the letter, following the letter above.

UPPER AND LOWERCASE LETTERS

The child would learn the uppercase and lowercase letters, plus also which uppercase letter the lowercase letter belongs to. Learning about the uppercase and lowercase letters are difficult. So, this can really help them. And furthermore, they could have fun along the way. :)

WORDS

On this page, the topic is colours. The child would be asked to try to spell the letters by clicking on the different jumbled letters at the bottom. When they get it right, the computer-generated soundn would read the word and the colour would appear. This helps the child with spelling and also how the word is pronounced.

COLOURS

This teaches the child the different colours. Just by clicking on the colour, the computer-generated sound would read the word of the colour, which would teach the child how to pronounce the word. Furthermore, the child will learn how to spell it.

Now, you can see how great this website is! Go on to this page to allow your child to play this activities now! :)
